All Elite's decision makers have two options here.

One, have Jon Moxley beat Konosuke Takeshita then move on to next month's Forbidden Door for a New Japan vs. AEW clash with Swerve Strickland. Two, book Takeshita to grab a major singles win over Mox and work his way towards a crack at that IWGP World Title on the next pay-per-view.

This fan would go for the second option, if only so Konosuke finally gets the recognition he richly deserves in AEW circles. The man is some pro wrestler, but he's been cruelly overlooked in favour of others time and time again. Beating Mox and then going after New Japan's biggest prize (a belt he's yet to win) would make up for all of that.

The intro to this article joked about it, but Moxley shouldn't bleed on Sunday either. Jon must leave claret to Adam Copeland, Malakai Black and the folks involved in that 'Anarchy In The Arena' set piece brawl. Time to go back to 2019 post-WWE Mox and put his working boots on.
