Belt marks the world over will always debate new titles. That's just the way it is, but nothing is going to be greeted with the same pitying head shakes as WWE's 24/7 strap did this past week. In that sense then, AEW couldn't lose when they had the legendary Bret Hart come out of nowhere to show off the promotion's new World Championship.

It'll divide many, there's no denying it.

To this guy, the AEW Title looked like a cross between the IWGP Championship's class-tinged trophy vibes and the UFC Heavyweight belt. There was a definite Japanese feel to the thing, and we're totally fine with that; most who are bothering to tune in for All Elite's product at all will echo those sentiments.

It was always going to be important for the new title to have a clean, prestigious look, and it sure has that. Plus, and this is a big plus, it's sizeable without being over-the-top. Right now, going on pure gut feeling, it's a winner.
