AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming - Every Match Ranked Worst To Best

4. Britt Baker Vs. Leyla Hirsch

For some tastes, Britt Baker vs. Leyla Hirsch was maybe a little too long and was too much of a back-and-forth contest. Given Baker's positioning in the company, there's an argument to be made that she should be winning in dominant fashion here, but the other side to that is that this match served as somewhat of a breakout performance for Hirsch.

In their eight minutes, Hirsch looked like a total badass when on offense. And likewise, Baker sold her ass off to make her opponent look good. With her low centre of gravity, grappling game and heavy-hitting strikes, Leyla Hirsch offers something different to what AEW's women's division currently has - and here we were afforded yet another glimpse of what she can bring to the table.

With only three years of pro wrestling experience under her belt, Legit Leyla has a hugely promising future ahead of her. Hirsch could prove to be a big-time player down the line for All Elite Wrestling, and her amateur wrestling background makes her standout from the pack.

That's down the line, though, and presently Britt Baker is far higher on the food chain - as shown by the Role Model's victory here.

While Baker vs. Hirsch was a solid, steady contest, the post-match sizzle between Baker and Thunder Rosa was fantastic. Those two are guaranteed to tear the house down when they eventually lock up, and AEW should be doing all it can to lock Rosa down to a contract as and when is possible.
