It says everything for the man's mic skills that Eddie Kingston feels like a bigger threat to Jon Moxley's AEW World Title reign than Jake Hager, Mr. Brodie Lee or MJF did. Following the latter in the challenger slot was never going to be easy (especially after MJF's heroics at All Out), but Kingston has done it.

Better yet, he can lose clean as a whistle at Full Gear without shedding his own aura.

Eddie is a strong enough talker to get his heat back after yelling "I Quit". He's also the perfect kind of opponent for Moxley, because he's a straight-up street brawler. This pair have history, and they've done a sparkling job of explaining that in intense promos - AEW showed smarts by keeping the face-to-face stuff to a minimum as well.

On Saturday, Kingston can squeal like a little bitch for Moxley and prolong his old pal's title reign. Then, he can shuffle back to the mid card and Mox can move on to other challenges...
