Predictability isn't always bad.

Everyone and their dog knew that Kenny Omega and Hangman Page would reach the final of AEW's Eliminator tournament, and that's precisely what has happened. Now, the next step of the story must see Omega win to become the new number one contender. It's about time he was in the top title mix.

Kenny could cheat, but it might actually suit his mega-aloof current characterisation if he wins clean and subsequently rubs that in his old tag partner's face. Post-match, Hangman should swallow his pride and reach for a handshake. Then, Omega should definitely pat his head like a condescending prick.

There are some subtle heel hints going on with Kenny right now, so that'd fit. He's becoming a self-aware-but-arrogant 'Best Bout Machine' who uses Dave Meltzer's praise as a means to jerk himself off. He'd be sensational as heel foil to Jon Moxley.
