AEW Full Gear 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. The Young Bucks Pull It Off

AEW has booked themselves into a corner here. Their own stip says that The Young Bucks "can never" challenge for the Tag Titles again if they don't come up trumps against FTR on Saturday. Hmm. Although that remains to be seen, it does necessitate a title switch.

The Bucks are a huge part of this division, and it'd be weird if they were blocked from vying for the belts "ever again". It'd also be crap if AEW ignored that in six months, so Nick and Matt might have to come out on top at Full Gear. Whilst that means a shorter reign for FTR, it does also sell the idea that anything can happen.

That's not a bad thing.

Unless The Bucks have some grandiose split story in mind for 2021, then they should take home those titles. They can always tease some friction in there too; Matt was the one who came up with the stakes, so Nick can still be p*ssed about that afterwards.
