5. Wardlow Turns On MJF

Eesh.

Listen, a Wardlow turn is coming at some point. MJF has been a world class kn*b to him for ages, and that antagonistic 'I'm the boss' stuff has become more prevalent recently. It will only end one way - this is pro wrestling, and musclebound henchman will only take so much abuse from loudmouths before pushing back.

It's still waaaaaay too soon for it mind, and it'd be messy if Wardlow turned on Friedman during this feud with Darby Allin and Sting. The big guy has been merrily beating the snot out of both at MJF's behest, so AEW would be better-served by waiting until there's a gap in The Pinnacle's schedule.

Yours truly doesn't think Wardlow would be that interesting on his own anyway. Everyone deserves a chance, absolutely, but there's a reason why he's a such a snug fit next to MJF. Flying solo as a babyface opposite someone so damn savvy on the mic could prove troublesome.
