4. Britt Baker Gets Brushed Aside

Be warned, Tony Khan. Certain internet writers will throw tantrums if Britt Baker is shoved to the side for anyone else in 2021. She's at the summit of the women's division in AEW for a reason. This wasn't some overnight flash in the pan; our Britt deserves her place at the top after getting there the hard way.

AEW might be charmed by Tay Conti's recent rise and think it's time for a sudden change. You'd be forgiven for thinking that this wouldn't be awful, 'cause Conti is coming into her own and Baker could always win the belt back at some point. However, why make a knee-jerk switch just for the sake of it?

That, in AEW's world, would be awful.

D.M.D is the rightful figurehead of the women's game around these parts. Brushing her off or putting her on the bench for someone else to enjoy a short run (which Tay's would surely be) doesn't sound all that appealing.
