AEW Full Gear 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Bryan Danielson Wins The Eliminator

At first, one was tempted to put Miro down as the Eliminator tourney winner because of something that should happen during Full Gear's main event. Again though, more on that to come. Bryan Danielson is likely the right choice to win the tournament and grab that number one contender's slot anyway.

Miro was a late sub, don't forget.

He replaced Jon Moxley in the Eliminator, and that means AEW wouldn't have had any concrete plans for him before Mox took some time out. They can't then make Miro the top challenger for the World freakin' Title if he wasn't even supposed to be involved in the first place.

Danielson has already had some in-ring belters since becoming All Elite, and he deserves this. Full Gear's bout, substitutes or not, should be another one. Making Bryan number one contender heading into the new year sounds like a good time - just think of the possibilities! Danielson vs. Omega II and Bryan vs. Hangman Page both work.
