AEW Full Gear 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Saraya Wins Her Comeback Match

This is the only outcome that makes sense.

Unlike Jeff Jarrett, Saraya can't afford to lose her first AEW match. This is the ex-Paige's first wrestling bout since late-December 2017, and it's vitally important that two things happen. Firstly, Saraya has to knock it out of the park and prove she can still hang with some of the best female workers around. Second, she wins.

Britt Baker is the one who can take a loss here and keep on pushing for that top spot again. Baker is good enough and savvy enough to lose whilst still retaining some credibility, especially if the likes of Rebel and/or Jamie Hayter get involved towards the finish.

A largely clean win for Saraya would be best for her though. This will be an emotional night for the Brit - it's her chance to show that a special AEW run is ahead. Fans in New Jersey will demand that she scores the pin.
