2022 has been one hell of a ride for both Jon Moxley and MJF. The current champ was supposed to be having a little holiday before CM Punk's drama booted Tony Khan's plans in the nuts and forced him to call upon Mox last-minute. Meanwhile, MJF has actually been suspended for fiery comments during a summer shoot promo.

He's back now though, and is the new champ-in-waiting. That'll surely happen on Saturday night - this is MJF's time to shine, and Moxley will fancy getting that elusive vacation in the end. Jon is the ideal guy to pass the torch to Friedman and make the tweener look like a million bucks in the process.

Title change incoming.

MJF has seemed like a future World Champ since the start of AEW. Over three years deep into the company's run, he can lead TK's promotion into 2023 with aplomb. Behold the beginning of the MJF era for All Elite Wrestling.
