AEW Full Gear 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. Adam Copeland’s First Pay-Per-View Is Low Key

ARGH!

Adam Copeland is arguably the biggest get for AEW. Yes, signing the likes of Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley was massive, but this is Edge we're talking about. He didn't necessarily fall out with WWE and leave on bad terms - the legend just fancied doing something different and having some fun around the wrestling map before hanging up the boots.

A friend of this writer believes it's a mistake to stick Copeland in a six-man for his first AEW pay-per-view. Arguing the point, she said there's too much going on other than Adam to make his initial foray into an official pay-per-view match stand out. It's a fair (and arguable) point.

Could Copeland's first official All Elite pay-per-view battle end up being far too low-key for a signing so grand? There is a chance he'll get lost in the mix on Saturday and come across as just another wrestler in just another match.

Hopefully not.
