AEW Full Gear 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. Blood Is Kept Exclusively For ‘Texas Death’

This is a message to one Jon Moxley.

Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland have the gimmicky 'Texas Death Match' tag heading into Full Gear, and fans have some expectations when they see a stipulation like that. People watching the pay-per-view who have enjoyed the pair's build will be expecting something gritty come bell time.

Basically, without mincing words, someone needs to pull Mox aside backstage and remind him not to bleed during his bout vs. Orange Cassidy. The Blackpool Combat Club member believes blood makes matches more realistic, which is fine, but he has to know his place on the card and help others succeed.

As a veteran, Moxley will surely understand. Page and Swerve might need to lean on blood to up the drama in their 'Texas Death' showing, and that claret will be diluted (ahem) if others are busted wide open on the same card.

Keep blood exclusive to this match and it'll be more memorable.
