It says everything about how bloody brilliant pro wrestling is that Toni Storm's character trajectory went from popular rock star > girl gang member armed with a can of spray paint > 'Timeless' Hollywood starlet who appears to have lost her mind and traversed back to the golden age of film.

The AEW Women's division can experience something of a golden period if Toni takes the title from Hikaru Shida this weekend. That'd be the best play, because Storm is 100% the most interesting character not-named Julia Hart that the female side of AEW's product has these days.

Get that belt back around her waist pronto.

Shida is functional and works solid matches, but she's far from an intriguing character. That's honestly key; All Eliters everywhere surely agree that 'Timeless' Toni seizing the belt and producing some glorious celebratory vignettes on Dynamite/Rampage/Collision is the best way to go.

Chin up, titles won, and watch out for the shoe.
