With there having been plentiful speculation that Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt, would sign with AEW once his WWE non-release clause was up, it appears that there was indeed tentative plans made for Rotunda to become #AllElite.

As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was "definitely a plan in place at one point" for the three-time World Champion to sign with Tony Khan's promotion. IMPACT Wrestling also had strong interest in Windham at that same time, although obviously neither company has been able to land the Eater of Worlds as of yet.

This same report adds how Rotunda opted not to immediately leap to another wrestling promotion once his WWE 90-day non-compete clause was up on 29 October. Instead, the former Wyatt Family leader has decided to pursue a movie project first and foremost.

While no title or premise has been made public at this juncture, Windham is due to start shooting a horror film in Tennessee later this month. Collosum Studios owner and SFX guru Jason Baker recently revealed this news, with the picture being described as a mixture of Ichi the Killer and Xanadu.

As and when Windham Rotunda resurfaces in the wrestling world remains to be seen, although Tony Khan hasn't been shy about how much of a fan he is of Rotunda's.
