AEW Revolution: 10 Things That Must Happen

10. Darby Allin & Sammy Guevara Open The Show

Back at Full Gear, AEW top brass chose to open with a tag-team match. They could do the same at Revolution, or they could give two young lions the chance to roar. Darby Allin's clash with Sammy Guevara feels like a match between two future World Champions, and it deserves the early spotlight in Chicago.

This pair would seize the day.

The Wintrust Arena crowd are sure to be hotter than Chris Jericho in one of those flashy suit jackets when the show begins, and they'd greet that dirging riff to Allin's entrance theme with a booming cheer. If AEW keep things simple, refrain from booking interference (Proud & Powerful shouldn't be at ringside here) and give them 20 minutes, they'll get a smash hit curtain jerker.

Bookending Revolution with the future and past/present is the right call. If Jericho vs. Jon Moxley is going to headline, then Allin vs. Guevara should kick things off.
