AEW Revolution 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. Ricky Starks Beats Chris Jericho (Again)

Note the huge, "JAS is banned from ringside" stip there. AEW probs won't honour that come show time, because this is pro wrestling and heel shenanigans are a certainty. However, whether Chris Jericho's crew runs in or not, one Ricky Starks should still come out on top with his hand raised.

Being brutally honest, this feud shouldn't still be going on. Here we are though, and it's been deemed good enough to shove on pay-per-view. Jericho vs. Starks will be a winner bell-to-bell, if nothing else, but it's important that Ricky comes away with another win over the legend and starts his ascent further up the card.

This is his time.

A screwy Jericho win would only keep things ticking into Double Or Nothing, and nobody needs that to happen. This rivalry is running on fumes as it is, so these lads can't be expected to carry it for another two f*cking months.

Just let Starks shine now.
