AEW Revolution 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

7. The Gunns Survive

Speaking of creative mistakes; a lot of people raised eyebrows when The Gunns beat The Acclaimed to become new AEW Tag Team Champions on the 8 February episode of Dynamite. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens were just getting started as the champions everyone craved for much of 2022, after all.

How's this for a shocker then: The Gunns should retain at Revolution.

Yeah, why not? AEW arguably sh*t the bed by booking a surprise change earlier this month, and they don't get to plonk the belts back on The Acclaimed and pretend nothing ever happened. They rolled with the title change originally, and they're gonna have to deal with it.

Also, The Gunns do not deserve to be discarded so quickly. They've been entertaining in their own right since breaking free of Billy's shadow, and it'd be a real pity if they were thrown to the wolves in some multi-team affair for the hell of it.

Keep these belts on them until Double Or Nothing at least.
