AEW Revolution 2024: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. Sting’s Last Match Is A Popcorn Fart

Here it is, and it's a hellish thought.

Tony Khan has done a wonderful job with Sting since the icon debuted in AEW. He's been protected in either cinematic brawls or tornado-style tags over the past few years, and it's been great to see. So, it's a nightmare thought to picture the legend's last hurrah ending up as a weak popcorn fart.

Everyone is capable of an off day mind, but that better not happen at Revolution. The Bucks better be in full-on Curt Hennig big bumping mode, and Darby Allin will have to hit some crazy dives to keep everyone interested. Then, Sting can pick his spots without anyone expecting him to be Great American Bash 1990 Sting.

It seems the Stinger will go out with a loss due to AEW needing to get those tag straps off he and Darby. That's already enough of a downer without the match failing to live up to the hype and Sting looking back on this with an Undertaker circa 2018/2019 level of regret.
