AEW Star Calls WWE's Randy Orton "F*cking Awesome"
This AEW wrestler and ex-WWE star says "there is no-one better than Randy Orton".
Matt Hardy told listeners tuning into his new podcast that "there is no-one better than Randy Orton".
The AEW star said he and Randy got closer than ever before during Matt's most recent stint with Vince McMahon's promotion. Then, when Hardy leapt on over to Tony Khan's company, Orton was one of the main guys who stayed in contact and wished him well.
Matt will never forget that.
Together, the pair bonded because they'd overcome various personal problems to become loving, grateful family men. Hardy definitely noticed a change in Randy several years ago, but not in-ring - he says the 'Viper' has always been one of pro wrestling's best, and added that anyone who doesn't think so can't grasp "the basic aspects of traditional pro wrestling".
Capping off his appraisal, Matt called Orton "f*cking awesome".
He was impressed by how Randy "constantly" text him during the AEW jump, and closed by telling fans he has "nothing but positive things to say" about the man. In fact, Matt thinks the world of Randy Orton these days.
