AEW man Johnny TV recently lost his hair during a match for CMLL on 27 February. Angel de Oro defeated the former John Morrison in a 'Hair vs. Hair' bout, so the shavers came out and TV has been rocking a new look ever since. Johnny sported that shaven head during an interview for Chris Van Vliet's 'Insight' show.

There, TV revealed that he feels "underutilised" by All Elite boss Tony Khan.

The ex-WWE star isn't particularly bitter about things, but he did go on to say that he's currently only operating at approx "10-20 percent of what [he's] capable of - storytelling-wise, wrestling-wise, in the ring" etc. TV noted that he isn't alone in feeling like this; he and several others refer to regular AEW appearances as "the island".

He just isn't on that island, but remarked that this is the case for a lot of pro wrestlers across the industry. Currently, Johnny is very much on CMLL's island, and he's enjoying his time there. During the chat with Van Vliet, Johnny called the 'Hair vs. Hair' match one of his best in years. "It was the first time in a while that I felt like me again".

Johnny hasn't worked a match under the AEW banner since losing to Ace Austin on the 22 January edition of ROH (taped on 10 January). His last mainline bout on Dynamite or Collision came on the 27 November 2025 edition of the latter. That was filmed on 26 November.
