AEW star Abadon suffered a suspected broken collarbone over the weekend.

As per Mike Johnson over at PWInsider, this injury took place during a match for Warriors of Wrestling out of Staten Island, New York. Abadon was competing against Joey Ace, and the injury occurred when the Living Dead Girl landed wrong when performing a hurricanrana on their opponent.

This PWInsider report notes that the match was immediately stopped and Abadon was taken to a local hospital, with it believed that the AEW talent broke their collarbone.

Neither Abadon or AEW have yet to comment on this matter, though Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling has moved to announce that Abadon's 4 December bout against Kidd Bandit is now off. However, the promotion does note how a match between the pair is "inevitable" for at some point down the line.

Abadon last competed for AEW at the 4 November tapings for AEW Dark. In a match that's yet to air, the horror-heavy grappler did battle with Leva Bates at those tapings.

Abadon's AEW Career So Far

Abadon made her AEW bow on the 10 March 2020 episode of AEW Dark, where they lost to Hikaru Shida. The next Abadon in-ring appearance would come three months later, where they decimated Anna Jay on an episode of Dynamite. From there, Abadon amassed quite the dominant streak, picking up wins against the likes of KiLynn King, Red Velvet, Sky Blue, Leila Grey, Ryo Mizunami, and Willow Nightingale.

During their time with AEW so far, Abadon has wracked up an impressive 33 wins from 36 singles matches. In addition to that debut loss to Hikaru Shida, Abadon lost again to Shida - this time for the AEW Women's Title on the New Year's Smash episode of AEW Dynamite at the turn of 2021 - and then fell to Britt Baker in a Trick or Treat bout on Rampage in October '21.

Prior to formally becoming #AllElite in June 2020, Abadon's pro wrestling bow came back in 2019, with the star first making a splash in Rocky Mountain Pro and eventually taking home the promotion's Lockettes Championship on two occasions.

From all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling, here's to a full and swift recovery for Abadon.
