AEW remains "tight-lipped" ahead of what could end up being one of the most transformational days in the company's young history.

Company founder Tony Khan has promised a "huge announcement" today, having addressed the Dynamite crowd on last week's show, hyping it up as one of the most important AEW has ever seen. Today also happens to be AEW's media partner Warner Bros. Discovery's upfront, and with rumours of Collision's seemingly impending Saturday night debut, a $1 billion+ television deal, and CM Punk's return swirling, speculation is intense.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer states that Khan and AEW have stayed "tight-lipped" about the situation, which should come to light later today. Officially, Khan has even claimed that there is no Collision brand, though AEW talent has been aware that the show is coming.

Khan has stated that legal reasons prevent him from discussing a number of the things speculated, having said that he'd be able to say more after this week.

People have not been told anything regarding a new television contract, though one executive in that industry has claimed they were told AEW's new deal "was far different from the rumours." Warner Bros. Discover sources are unaware of any terms that may have been agreed upon.

AEW's current deal with Warner is due to expire in September, and earns the company around $44 million annually.
