AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Happen

7. Nobody Cares About The Six-Man

Sunday's token six man is a bit random.

Wheeler Yuta teaming with Eddie Kingston sticks out like a sore thumb for starters (that temp union between Kingston and the BCC is so odd), and Chris Jericho/Sammy Guevara being back together feels so old hat in AEW circles. Yeah, let's just say the live crowd in Chicago might struggle to get up for this one.

Who could've thought that Chris f'n Jericho might be stuck in a popcorn match when AEW launched? That's a very-real possibility at Forbidden Door though. As much as Khan wanted to showcase some New Japan talent, did he really need to mix that in with this motley crew of workers?

If anything, the additions of Minoru Suzuki and Shota Umino will only distract from the real task at hand: AEW hyping Blood & Guts/the feud between JAS and Eddie Kingston. Fingers crossed everybody has their working boots in Illinois then.
