AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Happen

6. Toni Storm = Just Another Wrestler

Toni Storm 2
AEW

Toni Storm only made her AEW debut on the 30 March edition of Dynamite, but that feels like a lifetime ago now. Since then, she's cut some blah promos, got caught up in some business with Britt Baker and worked some tags alongside fellow ex-WWE straggler Ruby Soho.

This just isn't good enough.

Storm should've been one of the biggest gets in company history. Losing to Thunder Rosa in a babyface vs. babyface title match hardly screams "major coup" though; AEW must be careful they don't keep mishandling Toni as badly as WWE did.

Less than three months on from her debut, Storm is one of many striving for house room on a roster that's far too busy. Losing her first major pay-per-view match in AEW doesn't sit well, but it's probably going to happen so All Elite can resume Rosa's never-ending rivalry vs. Britt.

Where does that leave Toni? Twiddling her thumbs, that's where.
