AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 Heading For Legitimate Sellout (AEW News)
AEW is close to selling EVERY ticket available in London for their next pay-per-view.
WrestleTix has revealed via X that AEW's joint Forbidden Door 2025 pay-per-view effort with New Japan Pro Wrestling is close to achieving a legitimate sellout. At time of writing, there are just 233 tickets available for the event. It'll be held at London, England's O2 Arena on 24 August.
Before that, Tony Khan takes his group to Glasgow, Scotland for a twin Dynamite and Collision taping on Wednesday 20 August. Various members of the AEW roster have been posting photos and videos on social media showing them touring around the Scottish city and nearby capital Edinburgh.
It's understood that Khan decided against an elaborate stage setup for Forbidden Door so AEW could shift more tickets. That has shown itself to be a shrewd decision, because the company are close to a genuine sellout in London - that'd be a huge success for All Elite top brass, especially in light of ticket struggles domestically over in the United States for episodes of Dynamite and Collision.
Top matches on hand for Forbidden Door include a meaty 'Lights Out Steel Cage' 5v5, Hangman Page vs. MJF for the AEW World Title, Toni Storm vs. Athena for the AEW Women's Title, Zack Sabre Jr vs. Nigel McGuinness for the IWGP Title, and Cope teaming with Christian Cage to take on Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian.
AEW boss Khan must be thrilled that Forbidden Door 2025 seems to be such a hot ticket. This also shows how much demand there is for major league promotions over in the UK.
Here are all the details you need on how to watch AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
