AEW's MJF Deletes Reactionary Tweet To WWE SmackDown Promo

MJF posted on Twitter after seeing Seth Rollins' SmackDown promo, but deleted it quickly.

AEW star MJF appeared to tweet about a promo line on last night's episode of WWE SmackDown.

The All Elite standout watched Seth Rollins tell SummerSlam rival Edge that he's "better than him in every way, and he knows it". For context, MJF can often be heard saying, "I'm better than you and you know it" on Dynamite every week.

Basically, Seth (perhaps accidentally) poached the guy's catchphrase and used it on WWE TV.

Tweeting, MJF said, "Add a word so it’s not plagiarism". His post wasn't up for every long at all before being taken down, which suggests that Mr. Friedman thought better of responding to Seth - either that or he couldn't be arsed with the social media drama that'd surely come from such a cross-promotional comment.

The tweet wasn't up long enough for Rollins to respond, but several fans managed to catch MJF's salty jibe before it was deleted. That's one of the perils of Twitter; someone is always quick with a screenshot, or to discuss something that's only online for a few short minutes.

MJF was hasty with the delete button, but not quite hasty enough.
