Inevitably,the ousted champ put the blame on AJ, unleashing his anger on her on the subsequent edition of SmackDown and going so far to say that she was better off not being born. AJ took all the abuse and despite her best efforts, nothing she could say would change his mind: they were through. After publicly humiliating AJ in front of the entire world, he left her to cry by herself in the ring, planting the seeds for the "crazy chick" persona that she employ until the day she left the company.
