In the span of her five year career in WWE, AJ Lee had more boyfriends than she did championships in the shape of Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Kane and even John Cena. Perhaps her most notable and successful boy toy was Dolph Ziggler, who she joined forces with in December 2012. AJ stood by Ziggler's side through his various feuds with Cena, Bryan and Alberto Del Rio, even baring witness to him winning the World Heavyweight Championship in April. They were one of the cutest couples WWE had seen in years, but it was abundantly clear that they were only using each other to their own benefit. Thus, their split was only inevitable, and after she cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, it was time for him to break it off with her. During a backstage segment the next night on Raw, she apologized to him for her actions at the event, but he wasn't having any of it and proclaimed that they were over. Being the "crazy chick" that she was, AJ didn't take the breakup too lightly, sending Big E to do her bidding and leave him lying later on in the night. In the end, Ziggler got the last laugh when he and Kaitlyn beat AJ and Big E in mixed tag team action at SummerSlam.
