With CM Punk rocking the wrestling business by making his long-awaited return on Friday's AEW Rampage, Punk's wife AJ Mendez, aka AJ Lee, has taken to Twitter to react to her beau's Rampage appearance.

Screenshotting numerous tweets and headlines from heavy hitters like ESPN and SportsCenter, AJ talked up how the Second City Saint had broke the internet.

In some other AJ Lee-related news, Big E recently discussed AJ during an interview with Sportskeeda. Good friends away from the wresting world, E claimed that AJ is the sort of rare talent who would be able to work a "Brock Lesnar-type schedule" should she ever opt to return to WWE.

When it comes to in-ring action, AJ retired from the business in 2015, with her last match coming on the 30 March 2015 episode of Raw as she teamed with Paige and Naomi to beat the Bella Twins and Natalya.

Since stepping away from wrestling, AJ Mendez has become a New York Times Bestselling author, a screenwriter, has written several comic book titles, and carries out some amazing work pertaining to mental health awareness.

While a pro wrestling return would seem out of the question at this point, one would also have to imagine if AJ did indeed return, it would be with AEW.
