Alberto Del Rio's 10 Best WWE Moments

10. VS Roman Reigns (Smackdown, July 25th, 2014)

Obviously, this certainly isn't one of Del Rio's older matches, but it certainly helped to show the world just what he was capable of in the ring. Reigns is certainly in line for one of the biggest pushes the company has given out in this era, but questions continue to remain about his in-ring skills, and whether or not he can carry his end of the bargain in singles matches that last more than a few minutes. In this match, Del Rio was able to take Reigns and lead him to a 15-minute match that was very solid. Many are already calling it the best singles match of Reigns' young career, which is a good sign for both men. It shows that Reigns is coming along nicely, and that, with the right "partner", he can have good matches without the help of Seth Rollins and/or Dean Ambrose. However, it also shows the kind of worker Del Rio is, was, and could be. His skills often get overlooked, as people tend to focus on their dislike of his promos or his overall character, but there is no denying that he can "go" in the ring.
