As announced by Bleacher Report, WWE’s Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are to guest star on Peacock’s upcoming return of Punky Brewster.

A continuation of the Soleil Moon Frye-starring NBC sitcom that ran from 1984 to 1988 - with Frye back in the saddle as the titular Brewster - this new Punky Brewster show will premiere on the Peacock streaming service on 25 February.

There’s no exact details on how Flair and Bliss will brought into Punky Brewster, but the early glimpse of their appearance shows that the duo will very much be turning up in-character when they make their Brewster bow.

While numerous WWE stars have branched out into the world of acting in recent years, this is a relatively new experience for the Queen and Little Miss Bliss. Charlotte previously had a small role in Psych: The Movie, but that’s it as far as the pair’s acting experience goes.

Of course, WWE and NBCUniversal recently agreed a five-year $1 billion deal for WWE Network to be exclusive to Peacock as of March. And now, two of WWE’s most prominent stars will be turning up to crack skulls when Punky Brewster makes its long-awaited return later this month.
