All 21 NXT-To-WWE Call-Ups - Ranked From Worst to Best
6. Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch & Charlotte
The entire time that the Four Horsewomen were tearing it up in NXT, no one was sure how these serious, dynamic athletes were supposed to integrate with WWE’s infantilized Divas division.
Were they going to just pointlessly maul these poor ladies like the Steiners wrecking Manhattan Center jobbers? Would the lack of competition make them forget their savagery and become muppets, a la The Bushwhackers?
Ultimately, WWE decided to have Stephanie McMahon come out on Raw and just kind of say, “Okay, but now here's good wrestling”. Then everyone got split into teams for no reason, and things progressed verrrry shakily from there.
Realistically, WWE were never going to reverse 30 years of regressive booking in a single night, and the “Divas Revolution” wound up going nowhere.
However, the initial thrill of seeing Sasha, Becky, and Charlotte tapping out the entire Divas division simultaneously kind of evens that out. We had waited so long for something meaningful to happen to women's wrestling in WWE that the arrival of these three felt like a truly monumental moment.
