All 32 Wrestlers In WWE's Mae Young Classic - Ranked
Finalist...
2. Toni Storm
While Toni Storm doesn’t come into this competition with the most pedigree, WWE will almost definitely present her that way. She’s on NXT UK, she was a semi-finalist last year and she’s an absolute icon in Progress. As far as they're are concerned, that’s the best CV anyone’s bringing to this.
That’s not to say she doesn’t deserve the run she’ll likely have in this - quite the opposite, she’s amazing - but given that WWE will have one eye on the aftermath of the tournament she'll likely jump out at them as someone who's worth investing in. She's a major part of Progress, with whom WWE have a very close relationship, she's being pushed strongly on NXT UK and she's a familiar face to fans who tuned in last year.
At only 22 Storm is someone with all of her best wrestling years ahead of her and, form an investment point of view, she's a great one for WWE.
