All 8 WWE Universal Champions Ranked Worst To Best
1. Roman Reigns
Sometimes when creating a ranking of champions, it is difficult to decide who belongs on top. That is not the case with the Universal Championship, as Roman Reigns is far and away the standard bearer.
After a two-month reign in 2018 that was cut short due to his leukaemia diagnosis, The Big Dog would return and shortly thereafter embark on one of the greatest title reigns of all time. Currently in his second stint as Universal Champion, The Head of The Table has held the title for over 585 days as of this writing, with no end in sight.
For context, that's the longest title reign in WWE for nearly 35 years. In fact, the last WWE star to have a championship run longer than Reigns' current one, was Hulk Hogan, with the Hulkster amassing a whopping 1,474 days with the old WWF Title from January 1984 to February '88.
As such, there is no question that Roman Reigns undoubtedly more than deserves his place atop this list. Even more scary, it looks like Roman is set to hold onto his prize for at least another few months.
