ALL IN 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
History was made.
Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks made history with ALL IN, the first non-WWE or WCW pay-per-view event in the U.S. to sell more than 10,000 tickets since 1993.
To call the show a rousing commercial success would be a colossal understatement, but more to the point, as a celebration of quality wrestling of all styles, it was a landmark night for the industry.
Throwing the gauntlet down at WWE's feet and showing them how it's possible to assemble a five-hour show that doesn't feel like an exhausting slog, ALL IN gave some of the world's best a marvellous stage on which to showcase their abilities.
While the PPV ultimately lacked a killer five-star match to make it an undeniable show for the ages, the impressive consistency across the 11-match card is worth noting, as well as the focus on athleticism over screwy surprise finishes and eye-rolling storylines.
Fingers crossed that Rhodes and The Bucks don't make us wait a whole year for another show, because this was a damn exciting statement of intent and an encouraging step for the industry as a whole...
