Professional wrestling history of full of questions of 'What if?', and another such query comes up when talking about the NXT Tag Team Championships. What would have happened on the developmental brand if Oliver Grey hadn't suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament whilst he and Adrian Neville (as British Ambition) were NXT Tag Champions?

Would Adrian Neville have climbed to the top of the NXT tree so quickly? What would have become of Grey? Would the Wyatts have won the tag titles when they did, or would another team have been groomed to win the belts? Of course, the answers to these questions now purely come in speculative form, but the questions remain.

Grey was injured just over a month into the team's reign, and instead of vacating the titles Neville subsequently defended them with Bo Dallas as a replacement. They would drop the titles at the beginning of May to Harper and Rowan of the Wyatts.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
