11. Jerry Springer Presents WWE Too Hot For TV - Coming In April
From the press release:
Hosted by legendary talk show host Jerry Springer, this series will re-introduce the WWE Universe to the most outrageous stunts and cringe-inducing moments in TV history. The series will be chock full of insane situations and racy romps from WWEs past that will have members of the WWE Universe asking, Did they really do this?! Springer will inject his own brand of humor into each episode with themes such as Love Hurts, All in the Family and Weddings and Funerals. The half-hour series will be available beginning in April in WWE Networks video-on-demand library with new episodes weekly.
Jokes are often made about Vince McMahon and how hilariously behind the times he is in regards to pop culture. Unfortunately the announcement of this series is another example of that punchline brought to life. Jerry Springer in 2015? The raunchy talk show host hasn't been relevant in around 15 years, which is appropriate because from the description of the show it sounds like it will be yet another Attitude Era navel-gazing rehash. That was an awesome time to be a wrestling fan, but between DVD releases and other Network programming like Countdown and The Monday Night War it's been covered from all possible angles. This will probably bomb.
