Analysing 14 Upcoming WWE Network Original Shows

8. Culture Shock: With Corey Graves - Premiering In June

From the press release:
WWE commentator Corey Graves reveals a variety of unique venues, customs, music, food and people as WWE€™s tour travels around the world. From Marvel comic headquarters to a tattoo shop on the lower east side of Manhattan, Graves examines the local culture with his unique perspective and style. This short-form series will premiere in June.
Corey Graves is relatively inexperienced behind the microphone as he only began commentating this past December after being forced to cut his in-ring career short due to concussion issues. Nevertheless, he seems to have a gift for the position and a natural charisma that will probably translate well to a show like this. Culture Shock appears to be an Anthony Bourdain-inspired series that will be filmed on location during WWE's worldwide travels, and assuming they cater the sights, sounds and experiences to wrestling fans it could prove to be quite interesting. The Marvel HQ visit sounds particularly captivating, especially considering the sizable crossover of WWE and the comic book juggernaut's fan bases. While this isn't going to draw in a ton of new subscribers, it should be a fun, low cost addition to the Network that will allow fans to get a feel for the travel experiences of the WWE roster. This one will live or die on Graves' effectiveness as host.
