Are WWE And Brock Lesnar Playing Mind Games With Each Other?
Part 2 is next;
WWE 1 - Lesnar 1
How does Brock Lesnar respond? By showing up at a UFC event, immediately sparking speculation that he is looking to return to the sport. Dana White confirmed Lesnar's appearance and also confirmed shortly afterwards that a meeting between the two had taken place. Lesnar cut ties with UFC at the beginning of the year after his final loss to Alistair Overeem on December 30th and while he left UFC and a short time later joined WWE, he did so with White's blessing. The appearance was unknown and had not been discussed with officials at WWE. While it isn't uncommon for WWE Superstars to appear at UFC events, given Lesnar's connections with the MMA company I can imagine they would have appreciated a heads up. As Lensar hadn't discussed the appearance with either WWE or Vince McMahon himself, it's said and has been widely reported that Brock Lensnar currently has 'Nuclear Heat' with Vince McMahon for his unscheduled appearance. Is this Lesnar's way of knocking the ball back into WWE's court, a statement declaring that no one messes or double crosses Brock Lesnar. Brock has stated many times before, in his book, on TV and in interviews that he is a business man first and foremost. Is this Brock Lesnar's way of dealing with business, keeping his options open and dictating that no one either controls or gets one over on Brock Lesnar? With the events that have unfolded in last few weeks it's unclear how this will effect Brock Lesnar and WWE's relationship going forward. Can we expect more mind games and power plays? And if that's the case, who can we expect to make the next move...
