Are WWE And Brock Lesnar Playing Mind Games With Each Other?

Who is really playing who in the power struggle between Lesnar and WWE?

Brock Lesnar made his long awaited comeback to WWE TV on April 2nd edition of RAW, one day removed from WrestleMania. Along with his very lucrative contract and minimal appearance dates there is more to Lesnar's return than simple wrestling. After destroying John Cena, along with the vicious brawl that occurred the week following, Brock Lesnar has vowed to show he his up for the fight physically, but is he up for it mentally? WWE are known for undermining their talents, putting them in their place and educating them on who is really in control. But has WWE met its match Brock Lesnar? At Extreme Rules the match proceeded as a not so standard wrestling bout consisting of extremely brutal and stiff shots, resulting in John Cena being busted open. The match dictated where Lesnar had been since he left WWE, honing his skill as an MMA fighter, thus returning to the wresting industry and applying his craft. Hard hitting, no mercy and brutal force was the order of the day and giving John Cena his dues, he absorbed it well. While the brawl itself was an exceptional diversion to WWE's usual standard of matches, both in brutality and viciousness, the end was tarnished by a script diversion compliments of company man Cena.

The deal? The deal was that Brock Lesnar came across as a monster, dishing out the pain, making him look like a heartless fighter who was doing it all for the fun and money. With the outcome being that neither man 'walked away' from the match, John Cena was to be so viciously beaten that he would be unable to leave the ring under his own accord. Lesnar having made a minor flaw towards the end, resulting in an FU and inevitably the loss upheld his end of the bargain. Dishing out the punishment and showing no mercy yet still losing the battle. Feigning pain and fatigue he crawled his way to the back. Cena however, in which it was agreed that he would be stretchered out to compensate for Lesnar's loss, went back on the agreement. He got up, grabbed a mic and cut a promo. Lensar was furious and who could blame him? Trashing his dressing room backstage Brock was ready to walk away from the WWE there and then, only before he was calmed down by various talents and his own people. Some say it was WWE testing Lensar, seeing how he would react when the golden boy was given precedence. Others claim that it was WWE sending a message that regardless of how big a contract he has, he was still a fish in their pond.
