Oh, Tucky. Tucky, Tucky, Tucky. When you clocked poor Otis in the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase and abandoned him to the fashionista wolves, is this how you saw it going? Did you think that your betrayal would lead to opportunity and achievement, or did you see the somnambulist limbo of 'creative has nothing for you' in your future? Tucker likely hoped for the former but knew in his heart of hearts that it was the latter.

It was no great shock that Tucker was nowhere to be seen in the 2021 Royal Rumble. He hasn't been seen since November of last year when he joined his fellow geeks in chasing the 24/7 Championship. The sad thing is that most fans likely didn't notice.

Splitting up Heavy Machinery was another classic example of WWE booking things for booking things sake. Tucker and Otis found magic together and both were undeniably better off in the team, but the brief run of popularity afforded to Otis left Tucker behind, at least in the eyes of the booking team. Why not, I don't know, just have Tucker support his buddy? Why the turn, why the neglect, why the abandonment? Tucker Knight is a seriously decent big guy, now left to rot in the attic of misfortune that is the lower reaches of the WWE roster.

The future does not look bright for Tucker Knight, and that just ain't right.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
