Assessing The Likelihood Of WWE.com’s 2019 Wishlist

9. WWE Debuts A Weekly Women's Show

What WWE.com Wants: An exclusive slot for women to showcase their skills every week. There's no word on whether that'd mean female stars couldn't compete on Raw, SmackDown or NXT, or if they'd have their own set of pay-per-views.

How Likely It is: Again, it's hard to tell right now.

Sure, WWE are throwing some weight behind the women's movement. There are new female Tag-Team Titles on the horizon and Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey might headline 'Mania. On top of that, Becky, Ronda, Charlotte Flair and Asuka are among the promotion's most popular stars irrespective of their gender.

The problem here might be in WWE.com's wording. If women have their own show free from the regular programming, does that mean Raw, SmackDown and NXT would (by default) become strictly male-oriented shows? A women's weekly is a nice idea, but it might create divisions between genders when WWE have worked hard to remove them.
