Assessing The Likelihood Of WWE.com’s 2019 Wishlist

8. Team LayCool Return

What WWE.com Wants: A grand return for Michelle McCool and Layla, a feud with The IIconics and a stab at the new WWE Women's Tag-Team Titles for the Diva-licious former co-champions.

How Likely It is: This is an idea with merit.

McCool has already returned to the ring (albeit briefly) for the 2018 Royal Rumble, and we're sure Layla could be coaxed out of retirement for one more run alongside her former BFF. Together, the pair would be like Peyton Royce and Billie Kay from yesteryear, and they'd lend the new division some credibility for older fans.

The duelling promos and savage putdowns that were hallmarks of the Divas era may also fit in with WWE's 'new' direction for women like Mandy Rose and The IIconics, and it could work if McCool and Layla aren't called upon to work long matches.

We're not sure about LayCool winning the titles, but there's no good reason to argue against them being involved in a tournament for the new belts.
