Assessing The Likelihood Of WWE.com’s 2019 Wishlist

6. Drew McIntyre Becomes Universal Champion

Drew McIntyre Universal Title
WWE.com

What WWE.com Wants: A long-awaited World Title reign for 'Scottish Terminator' Drew McIntyre that vindicates Vince McMahon's 'Chosen One' moniker way back in 2009. Side note: it's incredible that Drew was handed that name 10 years ago.

How Likely It is: It appears to be written in the stars, and (best of all) it's not some unwanted push WWE management are burdening creative with. Fans treat McIntyre like a top guy, he can work against anyone, he has a unique voice that conjures up images of Mel Gibson in Braveheart and he's built like a brick sh*thouse.

This is happening.

2019 is finally Drew's time to shine. He checks an awful lot of boxes. The Scot has the size Vince McMahon adores, the workhorse mentality Triple H enjoys, respect for the business he works in and the support of both peers and fans alike.
