Backstage Update On WWE Moving WrestleMania 42 From New Orleans To Las Vegas (WWE News)
WrestleMania 42's move has everyone talking. Also, could WWE produce a "Super WrestleMania"?!

Fightful Select is reporting that WrestleMania 42 doesn't officially have a host city as of yet. However, WWE is expected to take the annual PLE powerhouse back to Las Vegas for a second consecutive year. That naturally flies in the face of an announcement The Rock made on the 21 February edition of SmackDown about 'Mania 42 taking place in New Orleans.
So much for that. It's ancient history at this point.
Fightful also confirmed that sources within the company "are quiet on the deal", but there is word on possible other locations if Vegas somehow falls through. London, England remains a "rumoured possibility", and an intriguing one. In their write up, Fightful did make sure to say that "WWE is seeking out a hefty site fee" if that's going to happen.
It's worth noting that AEW pays both the city and chosen venue whenever they visit London. WWE seemingly isn't interested in doing the same, because they're likely used to the WrestleMania brand commanding more respect.
There's a chance WWE knows exactly what they're doing here by keeping everybody guessing. Some have pondered online whether or not the promotion will bring 'Mania to Las Vegas more often, but "many in the company believe that is a negotiation tactic to encourage cities to bid more".
A "Super WrestleMania" In Saudi Arabia Is Possible

This will get people talking!
Fightful Select's report also included word on WWE eventually taking 'Mania over to Saudi Arabia. The country's officials do want the biggest wrestling show(s) of the year on their soil, but it doesn't look feasible any time soon. Something else would be though: A "Super WrestleMania" later on in the year that appeases Saudi whilst maintaining 'Mania's lustre domestically in the United States.
That kind of event would be in line with how WWE promoted the so-called "Greatest Royal Rumble" in Saudi back in 2018. The company had already put on a standard Royal Rumble in Philadelphia that January, but then grabbed a pay day by pushing a 50-man Rumble in Jeddah on 27 April.
Vince McMahon's decision didn't sit well with a lot of fans at the time, because the GRR encroached on the usual Rumble excitement and came hot on the heels of WrestleMania 34. Triple H and other WWE chiefs would have to be really careful about presenting multiple 'Manias in the same year.
