Best (And Worst) Of NXT 2016
12. Best Debut: Shinsuke Nakamura
Bobby Roode's debut was indeed "glorious" - the pomp and circumstance of his entrance music and his Ric Flair-esque robe fitted him perfectly, and will surely translate well to a mainstream audience. But one debut eclipsed even that, and is maybe one of the best of all time. That honor is bestowed to Shinsuke Nakamura.
We had no idea what we were in for at TakeOver: Dallas. Were we going to get a watered down, Americanized version of Nakamura, or were we going to get something that was just as weird and as awesome as his stuff in New Japan? What we got was an epic string section, blinding lights, and an entrance that rivals Chris Jericho's as one of the best of all time. The match afterwards was just as incredible.
