Big Show's Tag Team Partners Ranked - From Worst To Best

Man, World Championship Wrestling was a train wreck wasn't it? Slamboree 1998 is one of my favourite pay-per-views from the company, but that is purely for Ciclope unmasking to reveal my man Dean Malenko to a terrified Chris Jericho. Whoever said cruisers couldn't get over in WCW was dead wrong.

That show is headlined by a tag team main event featuring then-WCW Tag Team Champions The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) defending against Sting and The Giant. It all gets a bit 'WCW-confusing', as three quarters of the main event were nWo-affiliated. In actual fact, I can't quite remember why Sting and The Giant were teaming here.

Oh wait, it was because The Giant was WCW-affiliated when the match was signed, right? Either way, by the time the match was over he was nWo once again, as Hall turned on Nash allowing Giant to pick up the win.

The team would disband shortly after, holding the belts just 16 days. They didn't really lose them, more Giant lost his half by losing a singles match to Sting to decide the champion. Sting then chose Nash as his co-tag champion. They come above Luger and Giant purely because eurgh, Lex Luger.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
