Paul 'Triple H' Levesque is back in the WWE saddle after missing last week's episode of Raw due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Fightful Select reported as much last night, stating that WWE's head of creative was running the show for last night's Raw in Charlotte, North Carolina. The outlet states that Levesque was frustrated to have missed the previous Raw, which saw Brian 'Road Dogg' James fill in for him - as was the case with last week's SmackDown too.

Much of the 17 October Raw was written the day before the show itself.

That Levesque was going to be absent from the 17 Oct show was reported before the episode hit the airwaves. Triple H was said to be "feeling well and in good spirits", though it was stated that he wouldn't be able to return to work until he had cleared medical protocols.

17 October was the first main roster show Levesque had missed since ascending to power in July. The 53-year-old was named WWE's new creative lead in the wake of disgraced former CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon's July resignation, with the announcement coming days after Levesque had already been promoted to Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.
