The latest development in AEW's ongoing saga.

Amidst the fallout from AEW's already-infamous post-All Out media scrum, Bobby Fish has called out CM Punk for a fight.

Speaking on the latest edition of his Undisputed podcast (via the Wrestling Observer), Fish addressed the backstage All Out altercation between Punk, Ace Steel, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, and threw out the invitation for the current AEW World Champion to come and fight the former Undisputed Era man.

"Let's just make this a formal invitation to Phil. I'm down, if that's the direction he wants to go. And, I mean, he can pick the time, the place, we can do it in Chicago."

When asked to clarify that he was inviting CM Punk to a fight, Fish continued:

"I mean, that would be kind of fun, right? It can be boxing, it could be kickboxing, it can be MMA. I mean, we can do this bare-knuckled. Whatever sounds good to Phil. He can pick the weight, he can pick the place. Like I said, wherever he wants to do, but yeah, let's make it official."

Bobby would note how he loves the Young Bucks duo of Matt and Nick Jackson, describing them as "good people" and "good human beings".

For those who missed it, CM Punk's brutal, blunt comments about AEW's EVPs and 'Hangman' Adam Page during the All Out post-PPV media scrum was followed by a backstage confrontation with the Bucks and Kenny Omega. As per reports from the likes of Fightful Select and PWInsider, the Straight-Edge Superstar took a swing at one of the Jacksons, Ace Steel threw a chair at Nick Jackson and tried to bite Omega, and this situation is now a pending legal issue.

Of course, it's highly unlikely that we'll see some sort of official fight between Bobby Fish and CM Punk, and the bigger question right now is what this developing scenario means for the future of Punk, Ace Steel, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and All Elite Wrestling, period.
